I trained at the Central School of Art and gained an MA in Textile Design. I produce a collection of knitted garments and cushions. These are made in small numbers of individual designs. All are made in my studio in West London, using natural fibres including wool, silk and cotton. I have two industrial machines which produce textural knits, such as ribs, pleating, lace and ripple effects.
I work towards two main exhibitions. One is the Artists at Home Open Studio in Chiswick, Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush in June. The other is a Christmas show in early December at my studio. Outside of these I sell to some shops in West London and privately at my studio. I do not do mail order as I think my work should be seen in daylight and tried on. This ensures the client gets exactly what he/she wants. My work may be viewed at my studio by appointment.
